READING! READING! READING!
Hi students! I am so proud of each of you! You each have come a long way in terms of how well you all have improved on your reading skills. Please remember you all have 2 weeks left to read a small chapter book and to prepare a bristle board to accompany your presentation of your book. Please remember that you are trying to sell your book to the class to make them want to read it.
Here is what you need to write for your good copy and what you need to discuss during your presentations:
- Introduction: Name of the Book, Authors Name, and what made you pick this book
- What is the book about? (write a few sentences)
- The main characters in the story
- The setting (where does the story take place)
- The plot (what interesting events happen in your story)
- Conclusion (did you like the book?)
For your bristle board; please remember to be CREATIVE!!!
Remember we are aiming for a level 4!
Watch for your spelling, grammar, and practice talking at home in preparation for your presentation.
*BONUS MARKS* if you use drama/props during your presentation.
